The Colorado State Accountability Report provides an “overall” assessment of how well Colorado students are performing on a variety of important education indicators including the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) scores, the Colorado Student Assessment Program (CSAP) scores, and high school graduation rates, to name a few. The report card is also intended to help the public better understand how Colorado fares on key education areas relative to the nation as a whole.

The state report card should be seen as a useful tool for Colorado parents, policy makers, and the general public to better understand the “state of education” in Colorado – where the state is successful, areas in need of improvement, and how to contact state officials responsible for education.
